JANATICS EXTERNAL PILOT VALVE 1/8", 1/4" AND 1/2" DS2
Typical Features of a Janatics External Pilot Valve
An External Pilot Valve from Janatics is a control valve used in pneumatic systems to operate larger valves indirectly. Instead of the main valve being actuated directly by a small control signal, the external pilot valve uses system air pressure to control the main valve.
These are commonly used in:
Pneumatic actuators
Large bore (high flow / high torque) valves
Systems needing precise control with less actuator force
Industrial automation & process contr
Control signal enters the pilot valve (air or solenoid driven).
Pilot opens or closes a small port.
This changes pressure in the actuator’s supply line.
The actuator moves the main valve accordingly.
